A look back at the IPPE exhibition in Atlanta!

This year again, the SASSO team was in Atlanta, USA, for the International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) from January 30 to February 1.

Working alongside the Laying Hens and Turkeys business units, our Traditional Poultry team had the pleasure to welcome many customers and visitors to the Hendrix Genetics booth for three intensive days of meetings and discussions.

A large number of visitors joined us for this year's show, including almost all our major customers from North and South America. It was an opportunity to discuss new opportunities in the Central American market and to meet new key prospects in the US colored chicken market.

Thanks to our collaboration with the Hendrix Genetics teams, we had the opportunity to meet a Brazilian partner from the Laying Hens division. We also had discussions around the great potential for the colored chicken market in Egypt.

Finally, we were also able to meet key players in the certification of our heavier strains to open up new markets, like “Better Chicken Commitment” and “Global Animal Partnership”.

In conclusion, we are more than delighted to have once again taken part in this key tradeshow for the Traditional Poultry market, and we have now returned with some great opportunities and new objectives for the year to come.

We would like to thank everyone who visited our booth over these three days, as well as all our colleagues from the Hendrix Genetics group who made this show such a success.

We look forward to seeing you next year!
